OPEN STUDIOS

El Palmar presents Open Studios, a group exhibition of its current residents: Kara Rooney, Virginia Urreiztieta, Rare Architecture Books, Charlotte Sapene, Miguel Ángel Cordera and Mauricio Limón.

As part of the Open Studios activities, Miguel Ángel Cordera will present the interactive performance Drawing with Light at 6pm. Using uncommon materials in painting, Miguel Ángel Cordera makes an approach to a performative work where he includes observers to participate in an action that happens in an empty space. This action consists of taking an acetate drawn with silicone to project it on the walls of the gallery, combining the colors RGB light. The mixing of the colors through the filters achieves that the action of seeing the drawing through the shadow triggers the collective participation.
