Avant.Dev presents Neurofeedback Lab x MDAP: Studio Therapy.
New approaches in audiovisual production emerge through the design and programming of human interfaces that allow us to explore the proximity that exists between time, rhythm and our body.
Neurofeedback Lab is a creative multimedia environment by Mario Alvarado (MDAP) with music and visuals generated by waves of brain activity, heartbeat, breathing, and body movement.
This is how we invite you to immerse yourself in the new possibilities of art and healing, through alternative therapies and technologies developed with software such as Emotiv Cortex API, Node Red, Touchdesigner, Kinect for Windows SDK, Processing, Python, Max 8, Ableton Live & VST Plugins.
Mario D. Alvarado (MDAP) is an engineer and creative producer with experience in hybrid projects that combine experimental practices with high technology in neurology, musical composition and audiovisual performance. MDAP has toured Mexico, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and the United States focusing on music therapy and its effects on the participants who use it, giving rise to meditation and mindfulness with the sound textures generated by each person's body.

Alvarado describes his next Masterclass and Studio Therapy presentation, this 26 and August 27 at Avant.Dev in Mexico City, and later at the Beyond Code exhibition at the Decentral Art Pavillon in Venice, Italy.
Neurofeedback Lab x MDAP is an initiative of Avant.Dev, OTONO & ON REAL aimed at people with interests related to reflection, through ambient, experimental and electronic music, in the midst of a cognitive framework on the meta-reality generated by our senses.
