Torre Andrade presents Tiempo compartido, solo exhibition by Manolo Tejeda.

This solo exhibition proposal takes the concept of "timeshare"—a term commonly used to describe a real estate practice within the tourism industry—as its starting point. It aims to reflect on the nature of the leisure experience through art, specifically by considering the "art exhibition" as a setting where the boundary between free time and work time is brought into tension. The premise of this work is to construct a space where the leisure-related aspects of attending an exhibition can play out. The exhibition's title proposes a reappropriation of the notion of "timeshare," stripping it of its commercial connotations to understand it in a simpler, more leisure-oriented way: as the sharing of free time—an aspect that is believed crucial to reclaiming when interpreting the sociocultural practice of attending art events.
