    Workshop

    -> Jul 26 2025

    Just as artist Jose Dávila transformed a scribble into a metal sculpture, in this workshop we’ll begin with a freeform drawing — a shape without rules or limits — as the starting point to build a sculpture using colorful pipe cleaners. Inspired by the piece Dawn Found Me Without an Answer, part of the exhibition Jose Dávila: The Stones Know How to Sleep at EstaciónMAZ, this activity invites us to think about how every big project can begin with a simple gesture.

    Mariana Simental holds a degree in Psychology from ITESO. She integrates contemporary art, tenderness, play, and freedom of expression as tools to foster autonomy and holistic development in children. She has been part of spaces like Centro Polanco, where books, contemporary art, and cultural mediation are used to create safe environments for children with educational gaps to face their challenges, while respecting their individual processes and autonomy.

    Free family activity — Prior registration required
