Ismael Sentíes

Palma Gallery presents its final exhibition of 2025, Donde habita lo salvaje by artist Ismael Sentíes.

Like Monet before the Cathedral of Rouen, Sentíes does not paint to represent the world, but to lose himself in it. His pictorial gesture transforms matter into emotion and stroke into introspection. In his work, vegetal and cloud-like forms seem to breathe and turn into animals, revealing painting as an exercise in symbolic domestication. The wild is not what lies outside, but what stirs within and seeks to become visible.
