Kurimanzutto presents the second solo exhibition by artist Gabriel Sierra (Colombia, 1975). Museum Hours is a reconstruction of a small collective exhibition organized in the early 70's by a group of unknown artists. All the works presented could be situated within the canon of Western modernist art, and strongly resonate with conceptual art and the current global political situation. The pieces in this share the same dilemma: how to represent or interpret ideas from the dream world. This exhibition is also based on writings from the artist's dream book and from situations and characters from a novel yet to be published by Gabriel Sierra.
