Fernanda Caballero, Beginner's mind

Fernanda Caballero's work is more related to the emotion behind color and shape than to the imitation of the reality that we understand as “ours”. She has used different disciplines such as dance, corporality, meditation and yoga to know the depths of being and thus see them reflected in his work.

Corinne Thiessen, Post-Traumatic Playdate

Corinne Thiessen is Canadian multidisciplinary artist born in Winnipeg, Manitoba with a Masters in Fine Art from the University of Lethbridge. A comedic approach to human behaviour and social control are themes in her feminist practice. Thiessen’s painting, video, and performance explore physical and ideological impediments, repression and “acting out.” Kinetic installations mimic Sisyphus’ absurd plight, and question meaningful existence, success, and productivity, under capitalism.
