The work of the Baja California artist is the place where her voice finds clarity, where she feels safe, where she can scream and whisper about the fear and the beauty of existing in a body that is neither white, nor thin, nor male, nor young.

“I am driven by uncertainty, injustice, and the idea of placing my body to speak for many other bodies. I believe in the power of leisure, softness, and diversity as resistance to extreme capitalism, and in the power of aging. I am obsessed with waste, especially the flesh we will leave behind.”
