El cielo estrellado | Caterina Shanta

Within the framework of the residency of the artist Caterina Shanta and as part of the Lingue sorelle / sister languages program co-produced by the Italian Institute of Culture in Mexico and Error, they invite the screening of their film El cielo estrellado at the Cineteca Nacional.

El cielo estrellado tells the story of the centenary feast of the Madonna de la Bruna which, in 24 hours every July 2, links the old urban center of the Sassi in Matera (IT) with the suburbs built between 1950 and 1960, during the economic and real estate boom in Italy. Increasingly mediated by the use of images that tell the story, the festival is transformed according to the great historical, social and technological changes.
