As part of the public program of The City That Never Stopped Playing, the Conferencia Interamericana de Seguridad Socialis will host the talk Disonancia cognitiva: vivir (en) la contradicción del Mundial, led by journalist Marion Reimers, who will engage in a conversation about the tensions that coexist around the most important soccer tournament: emotion, memory, and a sense of belonging, set against the economic, social, media, and political dimensions that surround it.

The City That Never Stopped Playing, an exhibition that revisits the urban, familial, and emotional memory of four World Cups that have shaped the football history of the capital: the 1970, 1986, and 2026 FIFA World Cups™, as well as the 1971 Women's World Championship. The exhibition also brings together contemporary works that engage with the city's collective memory of these tournaments,
