Arte Abierto presents the program Derivas de Arte y Arquitectura: Public works and collective housing by Abraham Zabludovsky.

Architect Abraham Zabludovsky had a prolific career throughout his life. He is mainly recognized for the public works that he developed between 1980 and 2000, with iconic buildings in Mexico such as the Tamayo Museum, the renovation of the National Auditorium, the Infonavit offices, the Library of Mexico in the Ciudadela and many more. However, previously, between 1950 and 1980, he dedicated himself especially to the development of residential houses and collective housing buildings. He designed and built numerous complexes that today are distinctive in Mexico City, in neighborhoods such as Hipódromo, Condesa, Polanco, Lomas de Chapultepec and Tecamachalco.

Within the framework of the centenary of the birth of Architect Abraham Zabludovsky (1924-2024), María Bustamante Harfush will share with us some of the particularities and essences of his public and residential projects as part of the Deriva on Saturday, June 22 at Arte Abierto . In addition, we will celebrate his centenary with two special tours: on Sunday, May 26, for his collective housing works and on Sunday, June 23, for his public works.
