Chamula Hecho a Mano

AGO Projects open the doors of the gallery to Chamula Hecho a Mano, a project founded by Esteban Leñero and Bertin Sánchez based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, which promotes dialogue between design and traditional artisanal processes in Mexico, for a pop-up show during December and January.

For this occasion, Chamula Hecho a Mano will showcase a striking selection of specially produced art pieces for this event, originating from different states in Mexico such as Michoacán, Jalisco, and Puebla.

Chamula Hecho a Mano collaborates closely with artisans and artists to encourage the use of folk art in decoration and interior design projects, while also striving to create a better understanding of the value and importance of preserving the techniques and traditions of master craftsmen and artists.
