Línea a presents Cecilia Torri's solo exhibition.
This painting series approaches landscape painting of spaces abandoned by humans that have been reclaimed by nature in several coastal locations north of Veracruz. Developed from journeys along the Tuxpan-Tamiahua highway, the exhibition reflects on abandonment, the transformation of familiar spaces, and the re-signification of the landscape toward new continuities. The works originate in an affective and inherited relationship with the Veracruz territory, from which the landscape becomes a mirror of identity and evokes a sense of belonging.
Through painting, these fragments are presented as scenes of constant becoming, where time and nature transform the traces of human presence and open up new ways of understanding the territory.
