Fantasmas y otros fenómenos celestes by artist Camila Izaguirre is an exhibition composed of sketches and paintings inspired by memory, photography and the landscapes of Romanticism. Through careful observations of light, such as the contrast of an eclipse, the effect of a parhelium, the faint projection of a window on the wall, a body of work charged with melancholy and nostalgia is generated, resulting in solitary scenarios that blur the border between reason and superstition, the mundane and the supernatural. Winner of the ninth edition of Muestra Iberoamericana de Arte Miniatura y Pequeño Formato, Camila Izaguirre shares with us her most recent work, the result of a formal investigation that makes visible the artist's inner landscapes.
