Escuchas y escrituras is an expanded writing and video project. A sonic journey where the deep time of geology meets the vital time of our breathing, wrapped in modern plastic dreams. The work delves into the inner world of the earth, where we encounter geological depths that harbor a voice traveling from a profound time. It is a radical fusion that embraces sediment and a landfill ecosystem, compressing the materiality of technological excess and domesticated organic traces. A pair of blackbirds, concerned with the agitation of the underground, attempt to communicate with this entanglement of chemical-affective energies, modulated by a group of stones bordering the largest protected natural area of a major city.
