Centro Cultural de España en México presents the fifth and last session of the cycle Lo dijo con la mano, ¿cierto?, Ana Paula Santana presents Genealogías de la voz (2024).
This piece stems from the artist's long-term research on the human voice. In it, Santana reflects and analyzes the voice as a tool for self-perception, identity and social connection, through sound-performance acts that synthesize essential questions: the perception of one's own voice, the relationship between body and audible matter, as well as the sympathetic link of resonance with the environment.
