Developed through Alejandra Muñoz's research with the support of PECDA, Bacterializing the Shadow explores the invisible processes that sustain life. Through experimentation with bacterial cultures such as kombucha SCOBYs, the artist investigates forms of existence that remain beyond human perception yet continuously transform matter. The exhibition reflects on the hidden activity of living organisms, revealing the silent forces that inhabit the shadows and reshape our understanding of life.
