Workshop
-> Today | 11:00AM - 1:00PM
In the context of Children's Day, Plataforma opens its doors to young ones with a Sunday filled with play, exploration, and curiosity. Throughout the day, the exhibitions serve as a starting point for three workshops that engage with the current works on display: observing a fragment in order to draw it, protecting a fragile piece, or transforming a shape through error and intervention. Each activity proposes a sensitive approach to art without losing its playful spirit.
In addition to the workshops, children will participate in a collective mural and close out the day with games, music, and piñatas. A space where boys and girls don't just visit the museum—they inhabit it.
Activities of the Day:
Collective Mural (Reception)
Open intervention with crayons and chalk to draw, trace, or write collectively, generating a space where different ways of understanding and experiencing art come together.
"What I See Now" (Level 1 | inspired by the exhibition Here, Now)
Using a cardboard frame, each participant chooses a fragment of the space —texture, shape, object, or scene— and interprets it through drawing. An activity to discover that any detail can become an image.
"Careful, Fragile!" (Level 2 | inspired by Felipe Manzano's installation)
After a brief visit, children create a small piece with modeling clay and design a packaging system to protect it. A reflection on the care of the things we choose to safeguard.
"Break, Mix, and Create" (Level 2 | inspired by Cristóbal Gracia's exhibition)
Creation of a free form with modeling clay, which is then intervened (broken, flattened, mixed) to build a new piece. An exercise on transformation and process.
