Un gato toma forma

Within the framework of the exhibition Cien gatos, the Museo de Arte de Zapopan (MAZ) invites you to the workshop Un gato toma forma, led by Elisa Toriz.

What does a cat mean to you?

In this ceramic workshop, we will start from that question to explore our relationship with felines: the symbolisms we attribute to them, the place they occupy in our lives and in our imagination. Through brief writing exercises, we will reflect on the cats we see or remember: what do they represent? what character do they have? what story do they carry? From that gesture, each participant will model a small ceramic piece with their own feline, taking with them a material form of their reflection.
