Rayón 376 presents Rosas sonámbulas: Archivo y arqueogénesis en la música contemporánea, a conversation with Guillermo Canek García, academic and sound curator of the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (MUAC).

Guillermo Canek García, academic and sound curator at the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo, will present a lecture on the use of archives in contemporary musical composition. Through different works and creative processes, we will explore how sound materials, recordings, and documents can become creative tools for building new musical narratives. We will also listen to a selection of examples and case studies spanning different forms of sonic experimentation and contemporary practice.
