Plus One (+1)

With the exhibition Plus One (+1), SAENGER Galería celebrates its seventh anniversary and, in this collaborative spirit, the gallery invites 2 CONTRABAJOS to present their improvisational and experimental sound project.

Their proposal blends interdisciplinarity, naturally engaging in dialogue with the plastic and visual arts on view. An encounter where sound and artworks feed into each other, adding another voice to this collective celebration.

Plus One (+1) is a group exhibition bringing together the efforts of artists, friends, and collaborators as a celebration. This exhibition features the work of 52 artists: on one hand, 26 artists who have collaborated with Saenger Galería over these seven years; each of these has, in turn, invited another artist as a Plus One (+1), with the intention of expanding the community around the gallery and also as a vote of confidence toward those who have filled its walls and rooms. The growth of Saenger Galería has never been individual, but rather collective (a growth proportional to the effort and gratitude forged over these years), where, through inviting others, the community branches out, diversifies, and strengthens.
