Laboratorio Arte Alameda presents Pentimento, a solo exhibition by Pablo Rasgado.

The exhibition is conceived as an exercise in speculative archaeology, developed from the comprehensive restoration of the central nave of Laboratorio Arte Alameda. This circumstance allowed the artist to observe the museum from within, traversing layers, plasterwork, and structures, as well as its past as the home of the Pinacoteca Virreinal. In this way, the restoration process becomes an open excavation into the architectural body itself, culminating in a site-specific intervention that encompasses the entirety of the space.

This exhibition is organized by the Secretaría de Cultura and the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura, through Laboratorio Arte Alameda. Supported by Fundación Jumex.

As part of the World Cup season, from June 13 to July 19, opening hours will be extended from 9 AM to 7 PM. After July 19, regular hours of 9 AM to 5 PM will resume.
