Objetos de extrañeza: Socializing Research

On January 31 and February 7 of this year, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, the online workshop Socializing Research will take place, led by Susana del Rosario and presented by Servidor Local.

The workshop explores the construction of knowledge from and for artistic production, focusing on writing about art, artworks, and creative processes. It was developed in collaboration with HArtes Journal, has a fee of $600 MXN, and is part of the public program associated with the exhibition Objetos de extrañeza.

SUSANA DEL ROSARIO (Veracruz, 1990) Visual artist, graduate of the Faculty of Arts at the Autonomous University of Querétaro, and holds an MA in Art Studies from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City. Her work has been presented in national and international exhibitions, including the 6th Veracruz Art Biennial (2022) and the Latin American Print Salon (2023). She was awarded the Jóvenes Creadores grant from SACPC in the Drawing category. She has published articles on science fiction and its relationship to visual culture. Currently, she teaches at the Faculty of Arts at UAQ San Juan del Río and serves as director of the faculty’s research journal.
