María Esteve y Maximiliano Ruelas

The closing exhibition of Plataforma Residencias brings together the processes developed by María Esteve and Maximiliano Ruelas during their five-month stay at Plataforma and Cerámica Suro, under the curatorship of Romina Beltrán Lazo.

The exhibition opens up questions about accumulation and waste, intertwining matter and time from a shared notion. Through techniques such as frottage, sculptural assemblage, and ceramic exploration, the works presented converge on a common concern: how to record, interpret, and project the traces we leave upon the territory.
