Estas costas fueron bosques y se volverán desiertos brings together a series of sculptures and drawings that start from the idea of reconstruction as an incomplete process. Through assemblages of ceramic, copper, wood, and other industrial materials, the pieces appear as fragments of a system attempting to rebuild a memory that can never be fully verified. Drawing on visual elements close to technical diagrams and construction plans, the exhibition proposes a journey through ambiguous objects: artifacts that seem to contain records or instructions, but whose logic remains partially inaccessible. Rather than preserving information, the works function as translation junctures between memory, matter, and language. The project imagines a scenario in which only incomplete structures survive—forms capable of suggesting meaning even after having lost their original context.
