Enfocar la mirada: visiones anti-panópticas de la fotografía

As part of Anti-Panóptico, an exhibition curated by Inés Vachez featuring photographs by Camila Ayala Benabib, Juan Pablo Sandoval, Isabel Palomar, Florencia Cicchini, Álvaro Núñez Igartúa, Manuel Carmena Zazo, Andrea Núñez, Antonella López, and Nicole Thyssen Tishman, Analog Typologies Press and Servidor Local are hosting an open discussion for the general public.

On March 19 at 7:00 p.m., the discussion“Enfocar la mirada, visiones anti-panópticas en la fotografía” will take place, marking the closing of the Anti-Panóptico exhibition. Photographers Antonella López, Álvaro Núñez, Florencia Cicchini, and Camila Ayala Benabib will discuss their visions and approaches to the image, while exploring photography and publication as tools for addressing contemporary digital overproduction.d by various practices: activism, dance, and a constant desire to learn—and share. The camera has been her companion for 20 years, serving as a form of play, a way to be present, and to capture some of her curiosity and fascination.
