Lagos invites you to the portfolio presentation of Daniela Negrete.

Negrete is in transition, moving from academic figurative painting toward a contemporary practice; she is creating her first works from a different mode of thinking.

During her residency, she experiments with new materials, and approaches those she previously used through new forms and expressions. She seeks to move beyond personal narrative toward the creation of conceptual visualities, where the dialogue between material, expression, and content maintains a unified sense of meaning.
