Gutiérrez proposes to imagine —from the materiality of the earliest stone markings— their motivations, stories, connections, techniques, uses, and functions, in order to generate speculative fictions that might offer other ways of understanding, knowing, and questioning these ancient creations. To enhance imagination, to push beyond the structures that condition thought, and to explore that which lies beyond the tangible.
