As part of the support provided by the PAC grants, Otro Espacio proposes a collective exhibition that utilizes the notion of the "cover" as a conceptual device to spark a precedent for collaboration between diverse artistic contexts and communities. Through the conscious reinterpretation of pre-existing works, the showcase creates a space to reflect on the circulation of images, the shared construction of meaning, and the possibilities of shifting the idea of individual authorship toward more open forms of cultural production. Within this framework, the "cover" is understood not merely as a citation or homage, but as a critical strategy that recognizes influence, translation, and rereading as creative engines in an ecosystem permeated by contemporary media and technology.

The exhibition brings together artists and collectives whose practices engage in dialogue across different territories. It counts on the fundamental support of Torre Andrade in León, Guanajuato, whose participation is key to strengthening interregional ties and contributing to the decentralization of artistic activity beyond traditional circuits. This collaboration seeks to activate a horizontal exchange of experiences, knowledge, and methodologies between independent spaces.

Through a collaborative curatorial approach, the exhibition is envisioned as a turning point—rather than a concluding moment—aimed at consolidating sustained communication channels and mutual support networks. The project aspires to highlight and strengthen self-managed practices and alternative circuits through encounters, intersections, and shared work processes, as well as to generate concrete tools that allow these alliances to be sustained over time and expand the possibilities of collective creation.
