Through works and artists that use territory as a medium of inquiry, Como de otro mundo addresses planetary-scale phenomena as they take shape locally: the accelerated erosion of the earth through its indiscriminate exploitation, the transformation of the environment into a hostile medium, and the proliferation of borders and migratory flows.

The exhibition offers a typology of estrangements: a repertoire of artistic strategies that seek to translate the disproportionate magnitudes and dimensions of Anthropocene time and space, bringing them closer to the viewer through fragments of sensory experience and turning them into aesthetic territory.

The exhibition establishes a dialogue among documentation, archives, installation, film, sculpture, photography, textiles, writing, graphic art, painting, and sound art, with the purpose of underscoring the narrative potential of cross-border territories.
