Colección Jumex: Visiones difusas

Drawn from a selection of works from the Colección Jumex, Visiones difusas evokes a threshold where the boundaries between wakefulness and dreaming become porous. The works present images of waking life imbued with scenes that emerge from dreams, giving rise to visual projections that extend beyond the real and the immediate—like an intermediate state of reverie. Within this atmosphere, some pieces unsettle the everyday until it becomes uncanny, while others reveal reminiscences of more-than-human lives, returning us to a state of awareness in which the diffuse appears not as an absence of meaning, but as a liminal perception that challenges the sharpness of the analytical gaze.
