Lateral is pleased to present the group exhibition Circular el Tiempo, curated by Fabiola Menchelli.
The exhibition arises from the Artwork Criticism Circle project and presents the work of 14 Latin American artists who participated in the workshop:
The works gravitate around the idea of circularity, a polyphonic word, which unfolds, expanding the reciprocity and sense of community that the Circle generated. The exhibition revolves around the idea of circularity as a gesture, as a verb, as a process, as a path, as a social action.
Circular in relation to time, with repetition, as geometry and in the image. Circulate as an axis to reimagine and inhabit new possible futures.
The Work Criticism Circle is a workshop aimed at emerging Latin American artists. A horizontal space designed to advise the creative processes of participants and expand artistic research through accompaniment and group criticism.
