The title of the exhibition comes from a niche book titled Sense Relaxation Below Your Mind by Bernand Gunther, published in 1984, which explains various methods for meditating and establishing a deep connection between mind and body. Taking sensory enjoyment as a starting point and referencing Gunther’s text, the exhibition seeks to establish a series of tensions between the physical and language, and between the animal and the human.
