Saenger Galería presents the artistic project Net Contents (Third Batch) by Benjamín Torres.
Twenty years after its first presentation at the contemporary art fair Zona MACO (Mexico City, 2006), artist Benjamín Torres revisits the project Net Contents, now taking place in Saenger’s Project Room. The exhibition consists of an installation integrating sculpture and collage, in which viewers are invited to take part through the almost immediate recognition of commercial products—such as packaged and bottled foods—rendered mute through their transformed plaster forms and arranged on surfaces like a table or a shelf, as well as through the use of the original packaging of these same products in collage.
