A large-scale sculpture that is also an event. Following her characteristic site-specific and collaborative methodology, Millón devotes herself with obsessive passion to collecting clays from various rivers in Mexico City and sculpting a large sonic vessel. As an act of love toward the waters that fall from the sky and those safeguarded underground, the artist presents an intricate ceramic hydraulic mechanism that stretches and holds the sound of rain. The sound, if you do not hear it, is because it is latent; it depends on circumstance and patience. A preparatory call for the coming rainy season.
