Balance and Shift

CURRO presents Balance and Shift, a group exhibition of five artists that each bring a unique perspective to a conversation about material, physicality, place, framing and the body. Using both representation and abstraction the works expand possibilities for process and material, acknowledging a relationship to the body to explore a balance between physicality and perception. Working in and around photography, painting, sculpture, video and installation, the artists skew, upend and playfully disrupt conventions of presentation towards a deeper understanding of the representation of experience.
