Anna de Castro Barbosa (b. 1995, Montpellier, France) lives in Montreuil and works in Paris. Sensitive to the tension between materialities, she invites the viewer to engage with multisensory environments involving haptic images, odors, and sensuality. All that you touch, you Change. All that you Change, Changes you unfolds objects that constantly hesitate between attraction and withdrawal, between the desire for contact and caution. Each form engages with the absence of a referential body: it requires constantly reestablishing points of reference while maintaining a measure of distance, as if the gesture were being calibrated within the space between. A resemblance is already a form of contact.
