Alejandra Villa

Suelo Residencia welcomes its fourth resident: Alejandra Villa (1999), originally from the city of Chihuahua. Villa studied a BFA in Visual Arts at the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua, and her practice reflects on memory and the processes of forgetting through multidisciplinary media. Her work proposes sensitive reflections on how memories transform over time, and how certain fragments of experience endure or fade. As a closing event to her residency, the artist will present an open studio on April 17 at 7:00 p.m., where she will share with the public part of the process developed during her time in residence.
