“Land of Crossings”: Railway crossings, border crossings, cultural crossings—crossings as signs of death.

The exhibition Tierra de Cruces by Adrián Pereda Vidal emerges as a continuation of the project Faro Sonoro, a sound art piece created from manipulated recordings of trains passing through Mexicali, Baja California. When translated into an installation format, sculptural works are incorporated, drawing on graphic language and materials associated with Mexican road signage.

At the opening, a sound performance took place, and a permanent intervention on the façade of Planta Libre was unveiled.
