ATIA_04: Regresar a esas huellas

The Centro Cultural de España in Mexico presents ATIA (Audiovisuals in the Time of Artificial Intelligence), a series of presentations reflecting on the attraction to and rejection of the use of AI in the development of moving image projects. The series consists of various presentations in which we can appreciate everything from the use of generative design software created through AI to firm stances against its use. This is because, as acclaimed animation director Adam Elliot states: "Thanks to AI, handmade things are more appreciated."

The fourth session will feature Regresar a esas huellas, a work by artist Alan Droide.

Regresar a esas huellas: A video game based on the text Autopsia by Gabriela Cano that combines digital graphics with various analog mapping projection techniques. Have you ever thought that you cannot see your own eyes except through a glass surface? Self-perception and the breaking of boundaries are the central themes of this collective and ephemeral piece.

Artists: Alan Moreno, Gabriela Cano, Rodrigo Barquera y María Berber.
