MACCO

The Museum of Contemporary Art and Cultures of Oaxaca (MACCO) is a gathering space for the community, a creative laboratory, and a platform where diverse voices from Oaxaca and around the world can be expressed freely and without filters. The MACCO believes in art as a driver of change and in culture as a living network of connections. It is conceived as a pluricultural, multilingual, inclusive, and accessible institution that fosters intergenerational dialogue, critical reflection, and the enjoyment of art, actively contributing to the social, cultural, and symbolic development of the Oaxacan community.
