La Tallera, the former studio and residence of David Alfaro Siqueiros, is today a public museum of contemporary art, located in Cuernavaca, Morelos, and part of Proyecto Siqueiros, within INBAL’s network of spaces. The site is home to the murals created by the artist and develops a program of temporary exhibitions, guided tours, and workshops that activate the space as a meeting point between history, architecture, and current artistic practices. From its condition as a house-studio, La Tallera offers a living reading of Siqueiros’s legacy, in dialogue with contemporary questions around art and the public sphere.
