The Anahuacalli Museum announces a new and innovative workshop by Suena Barro: Ensemble of raw clay wind instruments.

El Anahuacalli, known for its dedication to the preservation and promotion of Mexican art and culture, announces this workshop, facilitated by the Suena Barro collective, with the expertise of Hernán Vargas, Natalia Scromov and Rodrigo Scola. This workshop is an open invitation to the sound exploration and creativity.

This experiential workshop will take place on June 3, with the purpose of providing a complete understanding of aerophone acoustic systems that can be created with clay.

Through experimentation and conceptual exploration, participants will learn different ways of approaching sound ensemble principles. The workshop will culminate in a concert, where all participants will play their newly created raw clay instruments, followed by an additional concert by Suena Barro.

The entrance to the concert is free and free.

The cost of the workshop is $1,000.00 MXN per participant, with all materials included.

This workshop is aimed at everyone, from teenagers onwards, and no previous experience in making instruments or in music is required.
