Centro Cultural España en México presents Un giro que es luz, an activity instigated by Andrea Muniáin and Paula Ramos Mollá with works by Paula Ramos Mollá (Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 1994); Andrea Muniáin (Tudela, 1994); Doreen A. Ríos (Toluca, México, 1992); Sergio Beltrán-García, and Marcela Flores.
Un giro que es luz explores the role of images in the transmission of knowledge and our current learning practices. This event is structured as an open panel in which the three invited speakers will converse with the authors of the book “El giro fotogramétrico”, Andrea Muniáin and Paula Ramos Mollá, recently published by Bartlebooth Press. The book analyzes the impact of digital representation practices, particularly photogrammetry, in various fields of knowledge such as the humanities, architecture, and biology.
The goal of the conversation is to rethink visual studies, specifically the role of photogrammetry as an interwoven practice within storytelling and the transmission of information.
