Yvonne Venegas Pervevault (1970), artist graduated from The International Center of Photography in New York, master degree in Visual Arts from the University of California. From her collective exhibitions stand out: Pulsions Urbaines, Rencontres d’Arles; Point Counterpoint y Mexican Photography; individually: Shoshana Wayne Gallery, Baxter Gallery, USA; Casa de América, Madrid; Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil, Museo Universitario de Arte Contemporáneo, Galería de Arte Mexicano, Mexico City.

Featured awards: X Bienal de Fotografía Centro de la Imagen; Magnum Expression Award 2010; acquisition prize José Cuervo foundation 2020. Scholarships and incentives: Sistema Nacional de Creadores in 2011, 2015 and 2020-2023, Bancomer foundation 2015; Guggenheim Fellowship 2016. She has published four monographies: ME de Hank (2010); Inédito (2012); San Pedro Garza García (2018); and El lápiz de la naturaleza (2023).
