Anahuacalli Museum presents the discussion Pesadilla de guerra, sueño de paz [Nightmare of war, dream of peace].
" Pesadilla de guerra, sueño de paz/ Nightmare of War, Dream of Peace" is a mural by Diego Rivera whose whereabouts have been unknown since the 1950s. Painted in 1952 for an international exhibition, the mural was mysteriously removed shortly after its first display. Despite speculation about its fate, including theories of sale to China and destruction during the Cultural Revolution, its current location remains a mystery.
Speakers: Armando Guzmán, Cultural Journalist and Blanca Garduño, Art Historian.
At the end there will be a cocktail and coexistence with the speakers.
