Something About Something

Exhibition

-> Feb 9 2023 – Apr 22 2023

Lateral presents the exhibition by Tania Franco Klein: Something About Something.

Through using staged photography, influenced by her fascination with social behavior and contemporary practices such as consumption, media over-stimulation, fixation with success and their psychological aftermath in everyday life, Franco Klein generates images that seem to exist both in a real and fictitious way. With juxtaposed narrative installations, in the exhibition SOMETHING ABOUT SOMETHING presented at Lateral, Franco Klein invites us to enter her fragmented psychological universe once again. Through a random selection of pieces that were not originally conceived to exist together, a new narrative is created that invites the viewer to inhabit the silhouettes of abstract and solitary characters that exist between escaping from themselves and being trapped.
