You approach a mirror. Closer. Closer still. So close you almost kiss your own reflection.

Desire unfolds—yearning for intimacy, a beloved one, an image beyond. Something lingers on the other side.

There is an unsettling quality to the image. Shadows deceive, yet draw you in.

To kiss the mirror is to kiss only what you see.

So we go beyond—shadows move, light hits the frame—the mirror becomes a screen.

We invert the kiss: our obsession now turns to the films themselves, each unfolding before us.

And we invite you to surrender to the screen for an evening of short films, ephemeral tales, and a first glimpse of Anna de Castro Barbosa’s video work.
