Siempre Sí presents its fourth edition with its exhibition salon for Mexican artists and designers, along with its iconic art week celebration.
Salón Siempre Sí is a space without divisions between art and design, seeking dialogue with the public through guided tours available at all times.
In this edition, Salón Siempre Sí presents UMBRALES, an exhibition that explores the threshold as both a physical and metaphorical space: a zone of transition, of porous boundaries, a place for encounters with the mysterious and the imagination, a liminal place that surpasses our finite conceptions and transforms our experience of time and space.
The exhibition features 15 works by artists Arroyo, Arroyo (CDMX, 1986), Juan Diego Covarrubias (Guadalajara, 1994), Ale de la Puente (CDMX, 1968), Camila Izaguirre (Monterrey, 2000), Mariana Paniagua (CDMX, 1994), Daniela Terroba (CDMX, 1991), Fabiola Torres-Alzaga (CDMX, 1978) and Trilce Zúñiga Loya (CDMX, 1993); as well as designers José Bermúdez (CDMX, 1992), Ingrid Culebro (Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, 1987), Ehécatl Moreno (Morelos, 1991), Marisol Centeno (CDMX, 1985), Roberto Michelsen / Bobi (CDMX, 1987), Rodrigo Noriega (CDMX, 1990) and Miralda Sandoval / Misasam (Monterrey, 1987). The pieces are available for purchase starting at 7,000 MXN (around 360 USD), with most being previously unseen.
The curation was carried out by the project’s founders: Joséphine Dorr (founder and director of Onda MX), Gabriel Arredondo, and Luis Arredondo (founders and directors of Taller Nacional). Salón Siempre Sí will be open to the public from Saturday, February 8, to Wednesday, February 12, from 12:00 to 19:00. Free admission.
Siempre Sí returns with its flagship party. The big celebration organized by Siempre Sí stems from the desire to bring the work of the exhibitors closer to a broader community while embracing the festive and warm essence that defines Mexico. Year after year, it stands out on the art week’s nightlife agenda as a joyful and accessible alternative. It offers the creative community, art lovers, and the general public a high-quality event that honors Mexico’s popular culture through its ambiance, gastronomy, and music.
Siempre Sí creates an inclusive and laid-back atmosphere where attendees can enjoy themselves, dance to infectious rhythms, and connect with local talent. From the exhibition and guest DJs playing cumbia and Latin beats to the selection of tacos served by Cariñito on the terrace, the event ensures a lively experience.
This special celebration will take place on Friday, February 7, from 19:00 to 02:00. Tickets are available at Passline.com.
