The Centro Cultural de España en México presents “Our” non-own body | «Nuestro» cuerpo no-propio. vermouth sessions.

The name that gives title to this session, in which the writers Carla Nyman (Es) and David Ledesma Feregrino (Mx) will explore the configuration of subjectivity, the problems with otherness, about the body as an intruder and stranger, in manifestations artistic works such as the photographs of Hans Bellmer, the paintings of Helene Schjerfbeck and Francis Bacon, the performative work of Günter Brus or the cinema of Julia Ducournau and the film Under the Skin.

Attendees will enjoy vermouth, a typical drink in Europe that consists of an aperitif liquor made with wormwood and other bitter and tonic plants on the terrace of the Cultural Center of Spain in Mexico.
